Easter holidays

It is now the Easter holidays (2 days in) and my period of shielding is due to come to an end in little over 24hrs. I get to spend my first day of freedom in school at an SLT meeting. Great. I have been busy doing nothing these past two days but tomorrow I shall be tacking the garden!

A long standing want achieved

When I joined Pinterest, right back in the day when you had to be invited to join the website (c2010), I found a pin linking to a website called Blurb which allowed users to make beautiful photo books. In the pin, the person had made one photobook for every year since having children and I wanted to do it. It is an expensive business and also quite time consuming and so was always one of those jobs that I would eventually get round to. Well, this Christmas I finally did. Inspired by T’s love of all things Christmas (he takes after me) I made a Christmas photo book with photos starting in 2006. He would spend time looking through our Christmas photo albums on line so I thought I would put them in one place. I made it over Christmas but saved on printing it as it was quite expensive (around the £50 mark) but I often get discount codes), I code a code at the end of Feb, ordered it and it arrived today and it is fabulous. I have now made myself another book – pictures of the children from 2006 to 2020. I think I might be getting a little addicted to them now!
