A royal visit

My parents are coming up on Saturday and, whilst they are not really royal, my mum does act like she’s the queen and expects everything to be spick and span. Now, don’t get me wrong, my house is not untidy. It is lived in. But it is not to my mum’s standard which is pretty much show home, before anyone has been shown it.

So, there are various activities that need to take place – good clean of both bathrooms, stairs hoover, wall washing, dusting, ironing, gardening, kitchen tidying. All whilst hoping no one makes it until in the interim!
